Week 2

This has been a ROUGH week. I walked on Monday and was feeling good. That night I had the worst tooth pain and didn't sleep the entire night. All day Tuesday, I nursed my tooth and by Wednesday, I had a fever. I talked to my doctor and was given some antibiotics. The rest of the week was spent getting over the infection. I finally felt good enough to get off my couch on Saturday and was able to walk again. I felt guilty all week for not walking 3 days, but I realized that not every week is going to work out the way I want it to. I need to be more flexible with myself and give myself some grace to be human.

What I learned:

  • It is okay to take care of yourself when needed.

  • My body is still craving the movement.

  • Having a water bottle makes drinking water easier.

What I struggled with:

  • Sitting still.

  • Resting.

Goal(s) for next week:

  • Walk 3 days.

  • Break in my new shoes (Thanks, Dad & Wendy).

  • Drink More Water.

Thanks for being here! If you have some ideas of things you want to hear about, let me know! See you next week! #JoyfulJourneyHappyHeart
