September Recap
I can't believe it is already October! I was excited for September to be a chill month, but it turned out to be pretty busy and it looks like October is also going to be a busy month! Just a couple of reminders/updates:
First 5k: October 3rd, 2026!!!
The 12th annual Forever Home Run will be the first 5k of my journey. The Forever Home Run helps foster children find forever homes, raises awareness about adoption, and supports adoptive families. You can learn more and join my team, Joyful Miles, here. They offer in person and virtual options.
Joyful Heart Fundraising:

Let's get into it! In September:
Rhiannon performed in her last cabaret at out local theatre to help raise money after a fire destroyed their costume shop.
Mariska Hargitay hosted the Emmy's and we had a little get together with a couple of friends to watch her NAIL IT!
We went to see Practical Magic 2 (this was my 15th movie in theaters this year, I met my goal!)
We got to spend time with some friends we haven't seen in a while!
We had a cookout with a friend who just bought a house!
We saw Hayley Williams in Detroit (and got soaking wet)!
We attended the Volunteer Dinner at our local theatre to celebrate season 94!
In October:
I have my first 5k of this journey! (Stay tuned for the blog this weekend)
We are going back to NYC!!!!! We got tickets for the Dun Dun Diner experience!
Law & Order: SVU Season 28 premieres (The day we get into NYC)!
We are taking a train for the first time ever!
The Knicks' Season starts back up!
I am officiating a wedding on Halloween!
