Hey Hey Hey! It's the end of May and let me tell you, it has been one hell of a month! Let's jump right into it!
First, a check in on the walking journey! I officially registered for my first 5k. It will be in October and I am feeling pretty good about it (ask me after we get back from NYC if I still feel this way. lol). If you would like to join my team (we also have a virtual option), check out www.foreverhomerun.com. You can register there, my team is called "Joyful Heart: Joyful Miles". Once I receive my fundraising page from the Joyful Heart Foundation, I will share that as well. We have so many incredible things happening for us this year and we are now half way through the year and things are going to start picking up and we cannot wait to bring you along with us.
This month:
We saw so much theatre!
Pippin was incredible! I had no idea what this show was going into it and left changed. It was a beautiful script and an even more beautiful cast!
The Last 5 Years shocked me as well. I have seen the movie and was not a huge fan, but seeing it on stage, it was heartbreaking. I understood it on a much deeper level.
We watched the Knicks go on to win the Eastern Conference Finals and are now headed to the NBA FINALS!!!!!! First time they have been here since 1999.
I got to spend some time with some friends that I haven't seen in a while. :)
We celebrated my sister in law at her bridal shower (the wedding is so soon!!!!)!
Mariska Hargitay made her Broadway debut and our friend put together a gift that was given to her that Rhiannon and I participated in!
Coming up in June:
We are headed to NYC to see Mariska Hargitay on Broadway!!!!!
We will see Lea Michele, also.
We will be in NYC cheering on the Knicks in the first two games of the NBA Finals! (We are hoping to get into the Madison Square Garden watch party, but will just be happy to be at any watch party around the city)!
We have my sister in laws wedding!!!
We got tickets to Hayley Williams!!!!!
Also, in honor of Every Brilliant Thing opening...I would like to give you a snippet of my list of brilliant things:
