July Recap!
Where did this month go?! I feel like the first few months of the year dragged but these last few months have flown by. I wish they would slow down a little. We have some big things coming up at the end of the year that we need the time to prepare for.
July was a pretty easy month. We didn't do too much. Michigan was hit with heat waves that put us in the 100s, which is rare. We were also smoked out for an entire week by the Canadian wildfires. You couldn't step outside without choking on the air. Rhiannon doesn't have an up-to-date inhaler so we didn't leave the house that entire week.
Even though it was a slow month we did have some fun.
We had several friends who celebrated birthdays.
Had a couple of movie nights with friends.
We celebrated our friend's wedding (they eloped).
I got a matching tattoo with my stepmom. I got her birth flower (Waterlily) and she got mine (Daisy).
We celebrated that I decided to stay. A year ago, I had a scary night where I wasn't sure I wanted to stick around.
We had lunch at our favorite diner downstate.
August is a pretty busy month.
We had Rhiannon's family reunion this weekend.
Rhiannon and our friend Dani are going to Cedar Point (I am not a coaster girlie).
We are celebrating Rhiannon's birthday in Chicago.
Our cousin is running his first Crim. He will be joining me at the NYC marathon, too!
We have a bridal shower and bachelorette party for our friend's wedding that I will be officiating in October.
