August Recap
I can't believe it is the end of August. I know I said this last month too, but this month flew by. We had a lot to celebrate this month!
Before we get started with the recap, I would like to give an update on the marathon journey! My first race of the Joyful Miles journey is coming up in a month, October 3rd. I am so excited, but I am also incredibly nervous. I do feel that with this first 5k, I will probably walk the majority of it. Which is okay because at the beginning of the year I couldn't walk half a mile without being done. So this will be a huge improvement! We created a Joyful Miles team for this walk and there are 6 of us participating for this first race in honor of The Joyful Heart! I just bought all of us matching shirts from the Joyful Heart HeartShop and I cannot wait for them to come in! In August we:
Attended Rhiannon's family reunion!
Cancelled Chicago and ended up going to Cedar Point instead.
Celebrated Rhiannon's birthday!!!!
Attended a Murder Mystery Bridal Shower Party. I was FBI Agent Jamie Bond and Rhiannon was Film Producer Juwana B. OnTivee. (I will be officiating the wedding for this wonderful bride-to-be on Halloween this year!!!)
September is going to keep us busy (which means it will probably fly by). In September:
Rhiannon is performing in a fundraising cabaret for our local community theatre . They lost their costume shop due to a fire.
Practical Magic 2 is coming out!!!!
MARISKA HARGITAY IS HOSTING THE EMMYS (Sept 14th...tune in)!!!
We have a Cookout/House warming for a friend who just bought her first house!
We are having a Halloween Movie Sleepover with a friend
We are seeing The Hayley Williams Show (Won that ticket war!!!)
